Enhanced filter / search using the Photos tab directly
I really like the photos tab functionality that allows you to select which type of items and show grouped by year /month / day and resize the images with the - + (this layout below) and being able to move to a specific year by clicking on the menu on the right of the screen but I would really like to be able to filter the photos to show a selection of them using the tags I have allocated to the individual files on this photos tab. The only way that I have found to filter the images is to use the search bar to look for a tag - it does show the correct photos but on the "All Files" tab and I lose the functionality to use the years/months/days viewing and the sizing - + and in particular I can't then select a year because the menu on the right disappears. This would be useful if searching a tag that would return a large number of photos ie. #holiday
Allow us to hide certain folders from the Photos tab.

We often store images or screenshots in specific folders, and these end up mixed in with our main photos, creating visual clutter. Hello Dropbox team 👋 I would really really love to be able to see tags appear besides the name of the files in any view, or folder, and on the mobile app, web version, and desktop app. Just a nice coloured tag left to the star icon would be wonderful. Yes, I know at Dropbox you are not a big fan of small, seemingly unnecessary cutomizations that don't serve an immediate and measurable purpose, but making customers happy is very important (here by improving UI and UX significantly and seemlessly for a small amount of time and effort). I'm sure the intern could figure it out in three days. Also if you are hyper motivated you can add a filter for tags to sort files (but NOT necessary, making them visible and coloured is already a great improvement). Here is what I imagine when I say tags: For colours you can do just like in Notion, where you can choose from pre-determined colours:

Hello. Ian referred me to write my request here. Can you please make it so that people are able to change the name of the "Camera Uploads" folder that files are automatically uploaded into without it cancelling the automatic uploads? This will make it far easier for both business and non business entities to organize everything, especially when sharing the folder with others. As of right now, if someone were to change the name of the "Camera Uploads" folder to something else, let's say to "Andrew's Content," the automatic uploads will completely cancel future automatic uploads into that folder and create a whole entire new folder, again named "Camera Uploads." If a business has multiple people sharing their "Camera Uploads" folder to them, that business has no way to distinguish between which "Camera Uploads" folder belongs to whom, nor is the business able to change the name of the folder for themselves on their end. This is a major problem. Can you please look into this and make it so people can name/rename the name of the "Camera Uploads" folder without it canceling automatic uploads? I believe Dropbox will greatly increase popularity with just this tiny update. I personally know thousands of both business owners and clients who would absolutely love the opportunity that an update like that would provide. Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
