Please email receipts for monthly subscriptions
Dropbox needs to start emailing monthly subscribers our receipts each month. Instead of making us retrieve them from inside Dropbox. I’m sure many of us need the receipts to file away for our expenses. Why does Dropbox value annual subscribers by sending them email receipts—But not the monthly subscribers?

Seeing request like this being ignored by Dropbox, I am convinced that the dropbox will not win too much market share for the business users. It is such a basic function to email the invoice or receipt as email attachment for monthly subscription users. I am also forced to have to log into dropbox each month to retrieve the invoice for my accounting team... It is really painful and we are migrating to other cloud storage providers.

This would be hugely useful - Please reconsider implementing this!

Also, please allow to choose a custom email address for billing, as its usually different than the account owner.

I would like to see emailing receipts for annual payments as well. Other companies do this. It's so basic. Dropbox makes it so hard to find invoices and receipts, yet they are a business-oriented service.

This feature is honestly a no brainer and should have been introduced when dropbox first started. I cannot fathom a reason why this would be withheld from users other than notifying them of the fees they are paying...
I need this each month for my book keeping and having to login and manualy download them is actually insane. - wynlydecker10 months agoNew member | Level 2
I am an annual subscriber. Dropbox does not email receipts to annual subscribers either! They make it practically impossible to find invoices and receipts.
Please add: Please make it easier to find and print out invoices and receipts. It took me a long time to finally figure out that I had to click on More on my billing page. This was after chatting with help. Help did not tell me to do that. This is ridiculous! You should not make invoicing into a science project. Why don't you just send a pdf of customer invoices directly to the customer as a attachment to an email. Or make it easy to find the link and do the printing. Your print buttons do not work!

This feature is long past due. Truly I pay like $1k a month for a service then I have to go in and manually download the invoice? I'll have an Automation Anywhere robot do it for goodness sakes. Get with the program and don't even wait for one more upvote on this. This is a basic feature.

Please add this. I need to forward the receipt every month to my office manager and it's a pain since I never even go to the dropbox website. Please update the user account system to add the option to enable regular email receipts upon charging a credit card for a subscription. Many of your competitors have this feature (Box for example: https://www.box.com/about-us/faq#:~:text=If%20you%20pay%20by%20credit,date%20outlined%20in%20your%20contract.) and I think most people consider getting an email copy of a receipt a professional standard. Our university switched to Box because it has many more features than Dropbox, and this is just one example.
If you already have a system to email the annual subscribers, it should minimal effort to give that functionality to monthly subscribers. Perhaps I'm wrong about the time to complete this change, but I would have thought this was on the list somewhere within the last 15 years.
