Scroll through photos in fullscreen mode on Android devices
Currently, it's not possible to scroll through photos smoothly in the app on Android devices. This limits usability, especially when browsing photo collections. I suggest implementing a swipe or scroll feature that allows users to navigate between photos seamlessly, simular to galleri apps. This would greatly improve the user experience for photographers and others who manage visual content in the Dropbox app.
Thank you for considering this improvement.

Hi!
I'll try to post this again. It seems like i could not answer direct on your mail.
First, I just want to say that this is not a newly arisen problem – it has been like this for as long as I can remember. It was when I was talking to a friend and complaining about not being able to scroll through images in full-screen mode that he showed me that, in fact, this is possible on Apple devices.
I’m using the latest version of the Dropbox app for Android, both on a tablet and a phone. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I also have the latest operating system updates installed on both devices. One UI version: 8.0 and Android version: 16. Both devices are Samsung.
The problem is that I can’t scroll to the next image when I’ve opened one in full-screen mode. I have to close the image, scroll to the next one, open it again, and so on.
I tried to attach a screenrecording, but maby the file was to big.

Here is a link to a screenrecording of the problem.

Thanks for posting your idea.
This would be quite a nice feature. If you could also respond to Nancy's comment so we can just get a bit more clarification for the idea, that would be brilliant.
In the meantime, I've opened this idea up for voting.

Current UX is terrible, sorry guys. When you tap on an image in the Android app, you enter fullscreen (hides menus). Naturally the user wants to be able to swipe between images but you can't without bringing up the menu first then swiping.
Imagine screen casting to TV and not being able to swipe between images/video in fullscreen mode.
This should be basic common sense stuff!

Thanks for your suggestion, K_T!
Do you mind sharing a few more details on the issue you’re experiencing? For example, what’s the exact OS version of your mobile device and the app version of the Dropbox app you’re using?
It’d also be super helpful if you can share a screen recording of what you see on your end, while navigating through your photos on the mobile app (you can share a link of your recording with us on the forum).
Keep me updated.
