Skip Two Steps

When importing files a name is suggested (date+time = GOOD). A suggestion ALONG WITH an “x” (or equivalent) that allows deletion of suggestion (except for suffix) with a tap so the name I wish to use can be entered without having to select=>delete the suggestion (GREAT).

    Thanks for the idea, if I understand you correctly:

    You are asking for a one tap way to clear the suggested filename when you upload/import a file, so you can type your own name right away.

    Ideally the “clear” action would keep the file extension (like .pdf or .jpg) so it is not accidentally removed.
