Couldn’t start Dropbox error

Couldn’t start Dropbox error

When I try to launch Dropbox I get this error alert:

The issue does persist, and the info at C:\Users\~\AppData\Local Temp\dropbox_errorvlznpgwj.txt is:

There is no user [removed per Community Guidelines] on that computer, anymore. How do I fix this?

Thanks for posting on the Community, @lepus!

 

Out of curiosity, do you currently have any antivirus enabled on your computer? 

 

If yes, I’d like you to temporarily disable it, and if you’re not currently on a free Basic plan with more than 3 devices linked, I’d suggest reinstalling the Dropbox app, as well. 

 

Does that seem to fix the issue?
