Hi,
I have an issue with Dropbox and its handling of Desktop folders.
Someone at my organization previously had Desktop shortcuts before Dropbox needed to be uninstalled and reinstalled because of a sync issue.
Thankfully, Dropbox now syncs, but the folders on the Desktop did not come back.
Can someone point me in the direction of a solution to restore the old folders?
BTW, the person uses Windows 11.
Hey @cjamison_namiglac, thanks for reaching out to us.
If I understand correctly, this user previously had the Dropbox Backup feature enabled on their computer.
If they go through these steps now, do they see that backup is still enabled on that computer?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Sorry for the long delay in my reply.
It turned out the user managed to find the old desktop in a folder named PC/Desktop(?) in her Dropbox directory tree.
