Apps and Installations

I am recently retired. I have used a PC all my life, except for a few small projects involving a Mac. My intention has been to move from using a PC to using a MacBook Pro. In preparation for this I moved items on my work computer that were personal to my Dropbox folder as well as material on my home computer, including my Quicken files. To start using my files in my Dropbox file on my Mac, can it possibly be as simple as downloading the DropBox app onto my Mac and just signing in? Will my Quicken data move with me? (I assume I should also download the Quicken app first onto my Mac? Grateful for any comments and suggestions.
Many thanks,
Poulter
Hey @dpoulter, welcome to the Dropbox Community!
You are absolutely right here!
If you want to set up Dropbox on a new computer, all you need to do is install the Dropbox application on it and just sign into your account.
The app will then sync any and all Dropbox files to your new computer.
Let me know if you have any questions.
