Replay should be part of any professional monthly package

Replay should be part of any professional monthly package

It seems petty to start charging Replay as an 'Add on' at prices that I think are uncompetitive when considering the competition like Frame.io and Vimeo for client review - particularly for Dropbox Professional users. This stops Dropbox being a 'one stop shop' in terms of collaboration, file sharing, video sharing and client review.  I suggest upper tiers of Dropbox monthly subscriptions get Replay as part of the package.

It's a very limited version with only 4 videos allowed. Thats an extremely limited amount for a 'professional' subscription..

That therefore is a different feature request 🙂... or at least make it clearer as Dropbox arent the best at responding to requests anyway!!

Make sure they know exactly what it is you are after

+1!

I've been testing replay since its beta release and i love it. What I really dislike is that you don't only have to pay for a premium plan of dropbox - no - you also have to pay about 10€/$ extra each month to use replay (if you wanna upload/share more than 4 files). So that's a minimum of 20 bucks per month for the smallest plan + replay. A clear dealbreaker for me!

Dropbox should include it in all paid plans with unlimited or at least a high number of uploads.

Imaginge you're mixing an album and share it with the artist to get feedback. That's a minimum of 10 files.

Also the fact that you're telling your clients that Replay is "included" in paid plans is pretty misleading since it's far from a full access.

Thanks for the feedback you’ve shared, @romanxtk! I’ve passed it along to our team, as well, so that they can see your message.

Totally agree - 4 files is basically a 'limited free trial' to test how it works and in no way can it be described as 'included'. I've been using Dropbox for over 10 years and think that it still has the potential to be the only true 'one stop shop' cloud, file sharing, client review option, but this has me moving back to Vimeo for client review and thinking I'll slim down from Professional to a smaller plan.

Its way to expensive. Because you have to pay it per Teammember also when you have the biggest business plan in Dropbox. I really like it to but now i use it less than before because of this high pricing.

I think it should be included with the bigger Plans.

We also think about to change something. Hope that Dropbox change it soon… Because Replay was a big point for us to invest in Dropbox.

I would have even pay the 10$ for every user that actually uses it

But you have to pay for every seat, regardless of the actual users.

If you have an advanced dropbox, even if you are the only user, you are paying 3*10*12 per year

360$ !!

So sad. I hope there would be other options. I would love to use it.

And to add something else:

It's the only way someone can comment a simple picture in Dropbox without creating an account.

This is possible for most other cloud services actually.
