Folder shared for editing but when logged in I have no access

Folder shared for editing but when logged in I have no access

Hi

I was invited to join a new group and a common folder has been shared for editing with me. But when I login with my existing Dropbox account connected to the same mail address as I received the shared folder invite, I can't access the shared folder when clicking the "Add to Dropbox" button, I get a message that I "You don’t have access to this content. You’re signed in as XXX" XXX is the same email address as I am signed in to. Does anyone have a clue what is going on here?? Can there be different Dropbox accounts connected to the same email address? Is this due to that my existing account was too old? Any advice very welcome.

Problem was solved by asking another user with access to resend the invitation. Strange but never mind, problem solved

Useful information in this case could be that when I got the invite I first tried to have Dropbox use my Google account for login, but was then told/reminded that I actually already have an existing account with separate password login, which is how I finally logged in to Dropbox.
