How do I move the apps folder

How do I move the apps folder

BAPCO

Some time ago Dropbox created a folder with my name and moved all my folders into that folder.

I've been able to move most of the folders out again (because they are shared with team members) but there are still a number of folders stuck in that personal folder - I've been abe to copy to main folder and then delete in the private folde,r however the Apps folder is stuck in there.  One of the apps I need to share with other team members (they need full access to edit the files) and the only way I can do that for them to log in as me! which obviously defeats the purpose of teams

Hi @BAPCO, thanks for messaging the Community.

The Apps folder on the Dropbox site is a special folder that can only be accessed by your account, since you most likely have a third party app storing its files in there.

This folder cannot be shared to other users, nor can it be moved out of the Apps folder for security purposes.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Thanks Jay

So confirming - the only way I can share an apps folder with a staff member is to give them my login

Hey @BAPCO, indeed, in this case, the "Apps" folder cannot be moved or shared, so that would be the only way for other people to access it.
