I created a file on my PC yesterday and placed it in Dropbox. However, when I open it online, the file has not yet synchronized. Can someone please help me with this?

Thank you for the patience, don't worry we'll do our best to get to the bottom of this @Nele51582.

So, if you try to download and install our app using this link, do you have any issues?

Feel free to send me a few screenshots of the app, and how did you update your content in order for me to have a visual of the app. That might help me have a clear idea.

What does Dropbox on the computer say if you mouse over its icon on the status bar?

Thank you for your response. It doesn't really say anything, it just indicates that this is Dropbox.

Hey @Nele51582, thanks for posting here!

I believe you're looking on the bigger Dropbox icon on your task bar.

Mark is referring to the smaller one, next to your WiFi that looks something like that:

If you hover your mouse over there, it should give you the app's syncing status, and version. Can you check and let me know?

Thanks!

Thank you for trying to help me. I must be doing something wrong because I only see 'Dropbox Lite' version.

Hey @Nele51582, gotcha!

In this case it sounds like you're using Dropbox in S mode. You can see more about this here

Think of Dropbox for S Mode as a mobile Dropbox client. It doesn't sync files the same way as the full desktop application does. Can you try to switch off the S mode, and then install our Dropbox app for Windows following the steps provided in the Help Center article above?

I'm sorry, I have no idea where to disable that S mode. I have looked around a bit, but I really can't find it.

I'm also afraid of losing everything, are you sure that this won't happen, because there's already hours of work in it.

Thanks for your help!

Hey @Nele51582, here is how to disable S mode for your device.

Also, you can definitely keep a copy of your content, if it makes you feel safer, however I don't think anything bad should happen.

As you can see, my native language is Dutch, but I think it is still clear that there is no Switch to Windows 11 Pro section.

Again thanks for trying to help me!

@Nele51582 , if you follow these steps instead and click on the link provided, do you see the option to switch off S mode perhaps?
