Not able to share a folder?
I am not able to share a folder but am only able to copy it and I don't understand why. Any suggestions out there?

sorry for the delay. i responded to your replay via email and the message was kicked back. Here is a screenshot of what I see when trying to share that folder. Other folders, I was simply able to share with Dropbox. Thank you for your help.

3 years agoOut of interest dumbquestion what IS the folder?
If its a Dropbox created one (Vault, Camera Upload, File Requests) it isnt possible to share it
- dumbquestion3 years agoExplorer | Level 3I believe it is just simply a folder on our computer for a check writing program. Have used dropbox for many years and this is the first time I have encountered this issue. I’m sure it is something that I am doing wrong, but I cannot figure it out.

Typically you would get only the Send a Copy option when you're clicking on a file or folder that's not located within the Dropbox folder. In order to share files using Dropbox, they need to be in your Dropbox folder.

i think it has something to do with the folder is considered a ‘public’ folder. i don’t understand especially since it’s our computer?
