Not able to share a folder?
I am not able to share a folder but am only able to copy it and I don't understand why. Any suggestions out there?

I believe it is just simply a folder on our computer for a check writing program. Have used dropbox for many years and this is the first time I have encountered this issue. I’m sure it is something that I am doing wrong, but I cannot figure it out.

Is the folder located inside your Dropbox folder? Typically you would get only the Send a Copy option when you're clicking on a file or folder that's not located within the Dropbox folder. In order to share files using Dropbox, they need to be in your Dropbox folder.

Hi dumbquestion, it's possible that Rich is correct, in that this isn't a folder already located in your Dropbox folder.
Could you right click the folder and choose Properties to see what the location is?
