Question about upload minimum from “folder/file requests”

Question about upload minimum from “folder/file requests”

I have a paid Dropbox plan (I think it’s a family plan) w 2TB space.

I have some big files for work where they asked to use my Dropbox space to upload to.

I tried something I never did before called File Request where I sent a request through Dropbox for someone to upload to. That’s what came up when I googled “how do I let someone else upload to my Dropbox” (or something like that) It’s makes a folder to receive their file and sends them an email but I didn’t know til I tried that it has a 2GB file limit. The files I’m dealing w are around 70GB each. My account has the space so it should be possible

Can you find out for me how to let someone upload to my account without that limit?

Hi @Shoshannalisa

You need to use Dropbox Professional to upload via Transfer files larger than 2gb (limit on Professional is 100gb).

www.dropbox.com/plans

You could try Dropbox requests instead (www.dropbox.com/requests) BUT it isnt as stable for larger files.
