I would like to know the following:

  • facilitate how your team prefers to communicate outside of class,
  • be free or include appropriate free features/trials,
  • include a file-sharing and commenting feature,
  • include a sufficient amount of space for sharing information, and
  • allow your team to set deadlines and project milestones.

Does Dropbox have these features? If so, can someone explain them? Thank you!

Hi @UltimateBeast11112, thanks for your interest in Dropbox!

Communication outside of the Dropbox team is usually up to the team themselves, so it isn't something we'd assist with.

The Basic plan provides some features, and there are trials for personal and team accounts.  Files and folder sharing, along with commenting, is part of the feature list for all users.

Quota varies according to the plan you're on. Note that shared folders do use quota on all accounts. Deadlines for teams can be created using Dropbox Paper as a task.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
