Delete, edit, and organize
Solve issues with deleting, editing, and organizing files and folders in your Dropbox account with support from the Dropbox Community.
Hello, a few days ago Dropbox blocked my access to the data of an expense tracking app that I have been using for years, stating that someone other than me had tried to access it and that the block was for security reasons. Nobody else was trying to access it, it was actually me who accidentally triggered the security measure. I have contacted Dropbox twice to ask for my data to be restored, but they are not taking any action and are referring me to the chat. I believe that if they blocked my access, they should be the ones to unblock it. It is very important for me to recover this data. I am seeking help. Thank you very much.
Hi @Rosesanty, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
If the data is still on your account, you should be able to recover it from the Dropbox site.
Do you see the files on the events page, or the deleted files page?
This will help me to assist further!
