Deleted folder only yesterday, but not seeing it in my Deleted Files

Deleted folder only yesterday, but not seeing it in my Deleted Files

So I accidentally deleted a major folder that I use for school yesterday.  So I went into the Deleted Files to try and restore it, but can only see one Folder (that I don't need), but do not see any other Folders or the one I actually need to restore.

I've created a completely new set of Folders for school projects, but I would love to be able to restore that folder.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks for the update here.

Were you the one that created this folder? Or did your instructor create it?

If the latter, is it possible that they removed you from the folder? This would also appear as "you removed your access" in your events page.

In that case, you'll need to reach out to them, so they can add you back to the folder.

Hey @astonge2016, thanks for letting us know about this.

Was this a shared folder or a non-shared one?

Are you able to see the folder in your events page, in order to restore it from there?

Let me know what you find.

It was a shared folder with my instructor.  I looked in events and it says I removed my access to the shared folder, but in the activities log on my account it says I deleted the folder.

I'm not sure how I would have deleted my access to the shared folder as I created that folder and gave access to my instructor.

That's what we ended up doing. She shared the folder back to me and it worked.
