Dropbox Photos Tab on iOS not displaying several hundred photos suddenly

First off..... long time Dropbox paid user for 12 years. Consider myself tech savvy so don't hesitate being technical with me 🙂 

- Returned from vacation to discover a large data deletion of several directories in my Dropbox folder(s).

- I've reviewed the devices registered to my account (3 in total that I own), and only 1 that was accessible during the deletion. 

- No other browsers logged in.

- Waiting for 2nd level support to review the escalated ticket from 2 days ago. 

- Unable to rewind the directories due to an "Internal Error."

Also noticed that several hundred pictures that reside a JPG's in Dropbox, no longer get displayed in the Photos tab in my Dropbox App for IOS. 

All of these photos contain Creation Dates, Modification Dates and Composite Create Dates. 

Any suggestions or experience with this challenge? 

Appreciate any assistant or direction.

As a first step, can you send me your ticket number reference, in order for me to locate it on my end? 

As for the JPG's, that you can't locate in your Photos tab, are these files that still exist in your Dropbox account, or deleted content? 

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
