Dropbox file search & find problems on desktop (Mac OS Big Sur)

Dropbox file search & find problems on desktop (Mac OS Big Sur)

I am going crazy with the search function on my computer not coming up with files I've saved to Dropbox (that are also synced to my hard drive) that I perfectly well know exist.  If I open a finder window and put a filename in the search field in the upper right-hand corner, often times my search results are zero.  It's as if the file does not exist.  However if I go to the folder where it's housed on my dropbox and scroll through, I can see the file right there.  I desperately need help troubleshooting this issue because it's making every little task take 10 times as long as required.

Hey @jashton2, welcome aboard and thanks for using Dropbox!

Can you please let me know if this happens for all files or just some specific ones?

If you can also provide a screenshot showing this, it'd be very helpful!

Thanks!
