Thanks for using Dropbox! The desktop client is regularly updated with many fixes including the following:

 

Fixed in this update:

  • Fixed an issue where adding an empty folder locally resulted in the online-only icon (cloud) being displayed instead of the available icon (green checkmark) on Windows 10 and 11.
  • For the desktop preview, version history and delete functionality have been removed from the preview surface.
  • Fixed an issue where the Dropbox taskbar would display while snoozed.
  • Fixed Dropbox taskbar placement issues on certain multi-monitor setups on Windows.
