Automatically Make Files Available Offline on iPad

Explorer | Level 3

I'm trying to find a way of having files automatically available offline.

I work in sports video and we send clips through dropbox to coaches (Who aren't very tech literate). We used to have a Surface Pro and it worked on there, just trying to see if it is a feature on the iPad.

I usually upload clips to the dropbox folder on my latptop and they sync and appear on the iPad elsewhere in the stadium. When we go in at half time I don't want to have to worry about the wifi strength. It is a short time and we need to have the videos available and clear.

Is there a way on the ipad to have it automatically make files available offline when they are synced across? And not have to go through individual videos?

Thanks,

Dropboxer

Hi @slawson, thanks for posting your question on the Dropbox Community.

Although there's currently no option to set a file to be automatically offlined on a mobile device, you can post this as a feature that you'd like to see implemented in the future, here, where other like-minded users can comment and upvote.

In the meantime, if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to get back to us. Cheers!
