I am a Mac User (latest OS) using Outlook 365 for Mac. I received an email from no-reply@Dropbox.com that has a file transfer in it (a PDF file) from someone I don't know. I can't find the domain name associated with the email address online either.
Could this be be malicious ? Is there a way to check without compromising my system or should I just report it to Dropbox?
Thanks for the perspective.
Solved! Go to Solution.
That isnt how file transfer works 🙂 File transfer is you send somebody a request for a file and they upload to your Dropbox, so, its almost certainly fake.
Try sending it to abuse@dropbox.com
