Uploading a file now takes so long?

New member | Level 2

I am using Zoom to record meetings with clients and up until about 3-4 weeks ago all I had to do was go to Dropbox, click upload, select the file and it would upload in about 10 min.
Now, it keeps telling me it will take 2-3 hours but there is always an interruption and it stops uploading about 20 min into it.
I have updated my version of Dropbox but that didn't help.
The file is an  .mp4. Any suggestions on how I can actually upload the file so I can share it?

Hi Greg,

Well... it turns out that I had thought I had completed the upgrade but when I went to do something it prompted me to complete it. After that, it worked. Thank you for your help and sorry my reply was so late in coming, I had to leave for a meeting and just returned!

@Kelly17 how big are these .mp4 files? You could try changing the Bandwitch setting to Don't limit (screenshot) and see if that helps any. What OS are you running?

I am using a Mac OS Mojave version 10.14.3

The Quick Time file is: 305,749,193 bytes (305.8 MB on disk)

I couldn't find in my 'Network' settings where to find what you showed in the screenshot... :O
Thank you so much for your help!

Kelly, in your menu bar, click on the Dropbox logo, click the gear:

Preferences > Network > Bandwith

Does that help? I can send step-by-step screenshots if that would helpful.

Thanks,
Greg
