iPhone, folders and files suddenly separated

iPhone, folders and files suddenly separated

johnweidner

On myi iPhone my Dropbox folders have always displayed contents mixed together. Now suddenly I'm seeing folders and files in separate sections, divided by a grey bar. And some files are not visible at all. What happened? How do I turn this off?

The missing files suddenly showed up, so the problem is now less serious. But I'm still perplexed.

Hi @johnweidner, thanks for reaching out!

That does sound a little strange, if you see this happen again, can you send me a screenshot of how this looks?

Are you still having trouble viewing any of your files through the mobile app?

Let me know - cheers!

Hi Daphne, Everything is now visible, so I don't have a problem. But I've used Dropbox happily for years without seeing this. My curiosity is much affected!

Thanks for getting back to me here @johnweidner!

This was indeed a change introduced with the latest version of the mobile app, where the folders and files are separated.

If you have any questions, please let me know!
