"Folder in use" problem when uploading a folder

"Folder in use" problem when uploading a folder

New member | Level 2

hello and thank you for this great work

I'm using dropbox (v101.4) in windows 10 Pro (version 2004, os build 19041.329)

I must always wait until uploading a folder finished to be able to rename it or remove it.

this is very Annoying.

Hi @mohammadhosseinashoori; welcome to our Community!

Any changes you perform within your Dropbox folder on your computer when running the desktop app will need to sync to our servers so what you mention could be actually normal if the app didn't have the time to sync the fist set of changes.

I'd suggest waiting for the app to show that it's 'up to date' before you attempt any renaming or removing of your files/folders.

I hope this helps to some extent and please let me know if you have any questions.
