2020 new dropbox need to move from C to D as C drive is too small

Helpful | Level 5

Need to move the dropbox but I only get Local (which goes to c) and Online.  I want to access these files on my larger HD not having to look on the cloud all the time.  I have Plus and Business dropbox accounts.

PC Computer running W10.  C is an SSD and D is my TB Hard Drive with plenty of space.

Thanks

T.

I couldn't get to the Preferences when I posted this message.  I had googled it and tried all kinds of things. Today I reinstalled the Dropbox app and was able to get to it. Thanks for your help.

Hi @TM_PB,

What actually is the problem? 🤔 Just move it!

Dropbox Preferences -> Sync tab -> Move button

Next, select the exact path in your D drive for Dropbox folder. 😉 That's it.

Hope this helps.

Anyway... Take a look here, how you can access Preferences, if needed in future. 😉
