Hi there!

 

The fun never ends.. At first Dropbox wasn't syncing anymore on it's own, but this issue has been resolved by now, it's syncing again. But now I'm no longer getting notifications after it has synced! 

 

Let's say my laptop is running with Dropbox open. I'm taking a picture with my phone. This picture gets automatically uploaded to Dropbox. So usually Dropbox will sync now and tell me something along the lines of: "1 new file has been added!" afterwards. While it's syncing the files just fine, it's no longer giving me that notification. 😕

 

Notifications are turned on both in Dropbox and Windows as well. I'm not using any anti-virus software right now except Window's own security center. Dropbox version is 114.4.426.

 

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hey @Sabbl; thanks for posting on our Community and happy February!

Can you please try reinstalling the desktop app on your computer and let us know if this persists? 

If it does, could you toggle off the notifications you'd like to receive through the app's preferences and then back on again?

I've tried a clean re-install as well as toggling the notifications afterwards, but the problem persists. I'm not getting any notifications. 😞
