Hello, i hope you guys can help me

 

I was checking the security features in my dropbox account and i notice that i have a lot of devices that i'm not using, even from 5 years ago (photo attached). When i try to unlink the devices via the "trash button" i get the final confirmation but the devices don't dissapear from the list.

 

The thing is that i want to install dropbox in a new device and i get the "you reach the maximum amount of devices".

 

The only device that i currently use is the first one in the list, the "Lenovo-PC"

Hi, guys, doing a security verification i was finally able to delete the other devices, thank you!

I have this same problem. from reading this, I understand performing a "security verification" solved this user's problem. However, there is no explanation on how to perform this verification and I can't find instructions in the Help Files. How is this done, please? I want to remove an iPhone I have not had for several months from the list. When I click the trash can icon next to it in the list, nothing happens. How do I do this?  Thanks for any help.

Hey @tigerdg; thanks for joining our Community and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Could you try removing this device of yours from your Security page through another browser

I just tried again (from the same browser, actually), but it did work this time. Problem solved, thank you.
