Dropbox for Win10 on Snapdragon

Helpful | Level 6

There is a growing trend for manufacturers to supply small formfactor Windows 10 Laptops and tablets using Snapdragon (ARM) processors instead of Intel or AMD.  These are now powerful enough to support Win10, and have much better power usage.  Unfortunately the full Dropbox is not supported in these machines right now - only the Windows Store App version can be used, which is way too limiting for most people (including myself)  This is a growing market that Dropbox can ill afford to miss.  I have having to use an alternative file sharing solution right now, but I still hope to back to Dropbox.....  Thanks for listening.

I'm looking at getting one of the surface pro x devices. Dropbox on there would be ideal!

This is also very important for my business and hope it gets resolved soon.  Thank you

DropBox unavailable in its full function form on mobile computing platforms would be a strategic mistake for the Company.  It is surprising to see DropBox behind the curve on this matter.

For me this is a deal breaker. I am a happy dropbox subscriber and would hate to move to another solution, but since I plan to use Surface Pro X and syncing files between multiple devices is a core requirement for me, I'd have to move to another solution. Being developer myself I understand that development for another platform (whith Arm64 essentially is) is costly but I just hope dropbox would see target the platform sooner rather than later.

Dropbox for Windows S / dropbox.com is not an option for me.

I’m a DropBox Pro user. My wife just got a Surface Pro X, I’m considering one or a Surface Book 2 for myself. Dropbox not working on the X will be a factor, but as I continue to migrate from Mac to Surface over the next few years, DropBox will become less of a factor, as I need it mostly because OneDrive doesn’t work with Logic Pro X files on the Mac.

Dropbox. Give us confidence you will make this work on ARM for Surface Pro X. You staff says "if/when" and that does not give us confidence.

I'm going to have to make a change of you cannot guarantee it. And when I set out on a path to convert (to OneDrive for example) there is no going back.

I have been a happy DB for Business user for many years.

This is definitely a must have. Otherwise I will have to switch to Google Drive or OneDrive.

Please fix Dropbox or I will also be migrating to One Drive.  I would prefer Dropbox, but not going to wait forever for a fix. I love my new Surface Pro X and want to stay with Dropbox.  PLEASE FIX!!!!
