The default volume level of Dropbox Replay

The default volume level of Dropbox Replay

The default volume level of Dropbox Reply is 30% or so. This is negatively impacting the review process, and clients often ask why the mix is "so quiet".

If there's anyone knows how to set the volume to be at 100% at the start, could you please let me know?

Hi @Tokki! Thanks for posting on our forum.

We’re checking this with the team, and we’ll update you as soon as possible.

In the meantime, can you perhaps provide any screenshots of what you’re seeing or switch browsers, and clarify if the issue persists?

Ping me, when you’re ready.

Hi @Nancy

Many thanks for your prompt response!!

This behavior is the same on other browsers.

Hey @Tokki - sorry to jump in here, but could you clarify if you have your browser's cookies disabled by any chance? I'm only asking because we use cookies (these would be part of the functional cookies) to save the volume level you choose normally.

Hi @Walter

Thanks for replying!

When opening a Dropbox Replay link, some clients may not want to accept cookies and just go play it. In this case, the default volume level is 30% and they complain why the mix is too quiet. This is because we all tend to expect web players' default volume level as 100%.

Many thanks @Nancy!

I hope Dropbox Reply set the default volume level to be 100%.

And I believe no one would like to tell every new client like this ; "Since this is Dropbox Reply, please increase the player's volume level and accept all the cookies"
