Fairly common feature in most gant-charts and similar, since most teams work Monday to Friday hiding the weekends from the timeline view offers a more accurate representation of how many days the steps will take.

Sorry Emma but this is a bit silly assumption to make from the team. Even though it's a single request, this is a high priority for most people using gat, that along with the ability to create depoendencies, multi-selection and critical lines, but I would put weekends above those. Just look into other apps that have introduce timelines, https://forum.asana.com/t/option-to-hide-weekends-in-timeline/18792/25 this request is quite common, and sometimes a deal breaker.
I need to remove weekends from my timelines.
I need it to be from Monday to Friday.
Is there a way to do so? If not, please dropbox people, think about it.

Great! Thanks Dropbox team 👍
Thanks, I wanted to create timeline for a work and decided to use dropbox timeline. I too felt a great need to hide weekends. Hiding weekends would be a great addition to timeline
