What happens to my files when I upgrade from a free account to a paid account

I'm looking at upgrading my dropbox from the basic free account to the Pro account.  What happens when you upgrade plans?  

- Does your login information change

- Do your files stay in the same place (is there a file transfer process)

- Is the transition seamless?

Basically, everything stays the same, but you get more space and access to the features that come with your new plan.
