I haven’t logged into this account in a couple of years because I no longer had access to the email of the account but I just got that email back but when I clicked reset password I never received a linked pls help
Dropbox policy says, your account will be deactivated if you do not use (sign in) for more than 12 months. Upon deactivation, your contents will be remove in 90 days. Dropbox should have sent you notification emails before doing so https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/settings-sign-in/email-about-inactive-account

Could you try adding "no-reply@dropbox.com" to your email's contacts or address book and repeat these steps to reset your password?
