I am helping a friend migrate from windows to Mac. He is Dropbox plus subscriber. When he signs on in Safari he appears as a Basic account and none of his files show. When we install Dropbox on the Mac it appears as Basic and his 160GB of Dropbox Plus files do NOT appear.
we de-installed Dropbox with appcleaner and tried again with no change. We URGENTLY need guidance. His wife’s windows pc and my friends iPhone still show Dropbox plus with the same login credentials.
Help!

It sounds like you're probably signing into the wrong account, if you see a different plan and different files in the account.
If you check the app settings on your friend's Dropbox on his phone, do you see the same email address as the one you're using to sign in on the new computer?

Yes. I figured that out about an hour ago. It is synching 150+GB of data now! I also had my friend delete the incorrect account after he confirmed he no longer used it. Much appreciated!
