Hi

We share folders/files, make comments on specific files ensuring the person receiving the comment is @Email however, they don't always receive the notifications. 

Does anyone know why this happens? Notifications are enabled, comments can be seen once the file is opened, it's the iniital email notification isnt received by the recipient.

As I said this doesnt happen every time, it appears to be periodic.

Hey @Abba! Thanks for posting on the forum. 

 

Can you send me a little bit of context regarding the issue? For example, is it the owner of the file who doesn’t get notified when there’s a new comment? Is it another user who has been tagged in the comment that doesn’t receive the notification? 

 

Also, have you made sure that all of the notification settings have been selected here?

 

Let me know and we’ll check this further.

Hi @Nancy

I am sending my comments to the owner of the file, who advised me she doesn't always receive notifications, as I said it seems to be periodically.

 

I have checked all notification settings, they are all ticked.
