dropbox search finding all files

When I search the dropbox files, which is shared business  but on my personal Mac, it is bringing up every file on the computer instead of searching only those in dropbox. I am worried colleagues are getting access to personal files.

From what I understand, you’re referring to the local Dropbox folder that’s accessible after opening your Finder, correct?

Is this behavior something that just started happening? 

As per your first post, have you shared specific files on your Dropbox account with your colleagues or are you all signing in to the same Dropbox account?
