Hello everyone!
I wanted to show you exactly what happens and what steps you'll need to follow in order to get more free space in your Dropbox.

The only time referral space is removed from an account is when it has been determined that a referral had been earned through illegitimate means. When that happens, all referral space is usually removed.
The only way to know the actual cause is to contact Support.

Hi Zed
Here's my Bonus Space page listing all the extra space I've earned:
As you can see, the only things I got extra space for are "Why you love Dropbox" and "Follow DB on Twitter". However, the "Connect to Twitter" and "Connect to Facebook" options are missing.
This is what it should look like.
And this is what my Get More Space tab looks like. As you can see, no option to connect Facebook and Twitter.

The option to connect yourTwitter and Facebook accounts are now removed as an option - following us on Twitter though can grant you 125 MB of space.
Thanks!

Does the 500MB I got from creating an account through someone's referral link count against the number of referrals I can send? Can I still get 16GB extra space in addition to what i have right now? Or does the fact that I created an account through a referral link mean I can only get 15.5GB extra?

If that's the case then this is stupid. Then what's the point of looking for referrals, if I can just create an account myself and still get the same amount of space eventually? I thought I'm getting an extra 500GB advantage by creating an account through a referral link (and can THEN get additional 16GB by referring others). What are Dropbox thinking?
Is there a source that confirms your statement (unless you're a Dropbox employee, in which case I'll just take your word granted)?
