I invited a friend using a referral, but it shows as ineligible.
Hi. I've invited friend with an invitation link from my account. My friend used that link, logged in in website, and then logged in on computer. And yet, her account is listed on my invitation lists as "ineligible". What is wrong? She didn't have an account connected to that e-mail address. She had one older Dropbox account (with different email) and decided to make a new one from my invitation link. From website help: Ineligible: The recipient is ineligible for the referral program. This may mean that the recipient already has an account with Dropbox, or that the recipient is attempting to register with the same computer as you. If you feel this status is inaccurate, double-check the email address of your recipient to try again. But none of those conditions are met... What are exact requirements for an email not to be ineligible?
I've suddenly run out of space after 13 yrs and lots of referral space
Been using dropbox for a very long time and back in 2014 I worked hard through their promotion and got a lot of referral storage and managed to claw up to 25GB of space and today I find myself out of space. I am not able to sync from my computer even. I cant find any help sadly and I am not that savy with computers either. I've just spent a few hours making my way here. :-( please help.
Dropbox Basic doesn't show my referral space after downgrading from Plus.
I cancelled my subscription from the 2TB Dropbox Plus plan to the free DropBox Basic 9.5GB tier. Over the years, I had earned an extra 7.5GB space through referrals. What/who do I contact to get that space included and counted in the Basic Plan as it states in my Account settings. Thank you. Screenshots from this morning -
Why was a referral I sent marked as 'Ineligible'?
I referred a friend. She has never signed up to dropbox. She is not using the same computer or internet connection as me. She has signed up to dropbox and paid. There is no connection between our accounts. In the 'refer a friend' tab of my account her email is visible and marked as 'Ineligible'. I want an answer as to why when I've convinced my friend to join, shes paid and we get nothing WHY?Referral shows as ineligible. What can I do?
A coworker sent me a referral. I have a brand new laptop and a new dropbox account. I followed the link in my email and signed up but the referrals page says ineligible. I searched and it suggested I needed to be on a different network, I tried connecting to my VPN and restarted dropbox but no luck. How can I fix this so that my coworker and I get our referral bonus space?
My Dropbox account was downgraded and I lost my referral space.
Hi all, I just cancelled a company account that has been using DropBox and in that process I also correctly lost additional space from my personal account that has been assigned as a team member of the company account. However, I got kicked back to the normal/default 2GB instead of the much higher quota I had before being connected to the company account. How can I get access to my earlier approved quota that was achieved by referrals? Thanks for your help in advance! /J
