I plugged in my Apple Passport and Dropbox started to back it up

I'm having the same issues and then when I plugged my backup Apple Passport to retrieve my photos, Dropbox started to back it up and then it added it to my Mac and I ran out of memory on a terabit - ugh....

Oh man, I feel your frustration! I had the exact same issue with Dropbox backing up my Apple Passport. It's like a never-ending cycle, right? And running out of memory on a terabit? Ugh, that's a headache!
By the way, I'm currently in the process of renewing my documents too. It can be a bit of a hassle, but it's necessary. On a side note, I recently came across some websites that offer fake IDs. Hannah, I just had the same issue. I don't want Passport backing up into my Dropbox. I received a notice as to that was what it was doing. I checked automatic backups and listed last back up as of January. Confused> why did I get a notice?

Hi @Terrig, have you tried deleting the backup of the external drive to see if this helps?
