No space available after downgrade

No space available after downgrade

Hey all,

I just downgraded from a pro account back to basic. Before I got a pro member, I've had 6GB of space. Thought I would get these 6GB back after downgrading but it doesn't seem so.

After downgrading DB always tells me that I haven't enough space to store all my stuff and that 28GB of storage space is still in use.

Checked my synchronized folders and files on my hard drive and within the smartphone app. There are at least 1,5GB in use and when I'm right in mathematics, there should be more than 4 GB left!

Something went wrong with my account after the downgrade or does is usually happen after getting back to basic?

Is there something I could try?

There's no direct support by DropBox if there's a bug to solve...

Thank you all in advance!

Hi @Retrofan1984, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you check the total quota on your account from this page on your account?

A screenshot of this in your next reply would help greatly!

Hey Jay,

OK it says that a backup uses the rest of my 6,75 GB storage. So how can I remove those backups?

In addition to this, you can delete the backup by following these steps.
