Storage Space
Looking for help with managing the storage space in your Dropbox account? Talk to the Dropbox Community and get advice from members.
I'm new to Dropbox (or rather returning after 7 years). I'm told I have maxed out my storage at 2 gigs. I am trying to find out how I've done that, but the interface only lists a few files -- and those have no byte values. How do I see EVERYTHING that DropBox has backed up for me and its byte count?
Thanks.
There should be a file or folder on your account that is taking up the quota. By calculating the folder sizes, you'll be able to determine where the space is being taken up on your account.

Hi @Q9999, thanks for messaging the Community.
You can find out the quota usage on the account by checking out this page.
Additionally, if you need the size of files and folders, these steps would also help.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

Thanks, Jay, but the page that you linked to only shows me the total gigs used, which I already know. I do not see files listed with individual sizes.
Did you try the steps in the second link I provided?

No, sorry. I just tried the link. I'll try the steps and let you know.
Thanks, I now can see the file sizes.
The only issue now is that the total storage used seems to add up to about 1 gig, yet I'm told I've reached 2 gig.
And a majority of the 1 gig seems to be an instructional PDF from Dropbox.
