Getting an error when trying to preview my files on the web

Getting an error when trying to preview my files on the web

I keep getting this general error message when I click on a file to view it. This just started the other day, and thought it would correct itself, but it still doing it.

I've cleared my cache and history, and it's still doing it.

Anyone know what's going on or how to fix it?

Me too.  Reinstalled the app with no luck.

Why do my dropbox links now give me an error message in Chrome, but they work in incognito mode? I've never had this problem before, and I'm a long-time Dropbox user. Is anyone else expiring this?

Me too. Two different browsers on my Linux desktop, and I get this exact message repeatedly. Is it actually possible to contact Support or does the "Help Centre" just consist of a bunch of generic documents?

Additionally, it works in Firefox but not in chrome.

Have you tried clearing cache/cookies etc.

Support is available at www.dropbox.com/support BUT it depends upon which plan you are on.

As my original post states, yes, history/cache cleared.

Interesting, because it's my firefox that's doing it.

OK, that's weird. Both Firefox and Chromium (open source version of Chrome) produce the error for me in an ordinary window, but seem completely stable in a private/incognito one.

Hi all, thanks for your reports so far.

Could you let us know if this persists for you after clearing your browser's cache or when using another browser or an incognito window with no extensions or plugins running?
