Sent my files from PC to an iPhone, and my wife can't open them

I use a Windows based PC.  My wife uses and iPhone.

Sent her photos via dropbox and when they arrived on her phone, she could not find a way to open the files.

She says, she's opened files from dropbox before, but they were sent on an Apple product.

Is there a known problem between a jpeg uploaded file from a pc to an iPhone?

Thanks!

Hi @FaithfulPastor, thanks for posting here!

How exactly did you send her the photos? Did you use a shared link, shared folder, file transfer or did you use another method?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there.

I sent this to her in two steps.

Here's what I've loaded to dropbox

Awesome job with the screenshots, @FaithfulPastor! Thanks for clarifying.

What problem did your wife face on her end? Did she receive the content via email? Did she open the browser on her phone in order to view it?

When she opened the email, the photos would not download.

Hey @FaithfulPastor, sorry to jump in here, but can you clarify if your wife was getting an error or if the screen froze and was not responding etc.?

Has she tried clearing her browser's cache recently or another browser?

She sent a photo to herself using dropbox and she had no trouble opening it.

That's why I 'm asking if there's a problem between a PC sending a photo to an iPhone.

Hi @FaithfulPastor, no there shouldn't be a problem between devices.

Could you ask her to clarify the problem she's having, when trying to open your file?
