There's a .canary file causing syncing issues on my Dropbox app.
Hey all! My local backup software failed out yesterday - it reported that there was a file in use in Dropbox. I poked around and found that ".canary" in my Dropbox cache was marked with the syncing icon (round blue arrows). There was also a file "canary.enabled", but that one seemed to be static. When I delete the ".canary" file, it simply reappears. This file doesn't show up on my online account (natch). I can see it on my two linked computers, my desktop (Win 11) and laptop (Win 10). Both are running app version 214.3.5104. I have a basic (free) account. Anyone know what's going on with this canary file? Why can't I delete it? Where did it come from? I'd like to clear it so my local backup will run, but I'm also concerned that this might indicate a security issue, as I have no idea where this file came from. Thanks for anything you can offer!

Deleted folder and files still accessible via shared link
I shared a folder of files a few days ago. Today I deleted the folder and the underlying files. However, the link still works, the files still show up in the download page, and files are still able to be downloaded. To be clear, the folder and files do not exist locally on disk nor on the original dropbox.com location. I physically deleted them. So they should not be accessible via the shared linked, yet they are. Tried multiple browsers, they're still visible and downloadable.

How can I delete all shared links to a folder and its subfolders?
I'm a photographer and I have a recurring client who I've been shooting for since 2020. During this time I have put all the pics for them in a folder with a "master" shared link, and in specific occasions I have shared links to subfolders as well. Links have been passed around too, so who knows how many people have access to these pictures. Now they want to start fresh, delete all access links including subfolders and have only one person have access to the link to the main folder. Which is the best procedure for this?

Dropbox shared folder owner change and deletion
Hey guys, I am a forum novice, so hoping someone can assist me, as there is no support call centre for Dropbox, and my support tickets have gone unanswered. I am the owner of a shared folder on dropbox for a company job. I am no longer on the team and would like to transfer the ownership of the folder and delete the folder from my dropbox, as my subscription has expired and I no longer need the space. I want to delete the folder from my side without affecting the other peoples access or content once transferred. How do I go about this? It's quite urgent so if anyone could assist me soon I would be most grateful.
