Give us the option to export/download comments
It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to download a PDF (or image, or other file types) with comments included. Alternatively, could there be a way save out just the comments as it's own downloadable format? If a file is changed, the comments disappear into the ether. This would help streamline our workflow and help keep track of changes/comments/conversations. Currently we screenshot every page with comments to keep track of edits. Thank you
Implement a "No all" option to skip when uploading duplicate files
App, Android Wenn beim runterladen was schief geht und nicht alle Dateien mitkommen, ok kann passieren. Aber: wenn ich dann nochmal den Download anstoße und dann ja einige Dateien schon vorhanden sind, gibt es bei der Frage "ersetzen?" nur "überspringen"(=nein) "ja" "ja, alle"! Wo ist das "nein, alle"?! So muss ich teilweise seeehr oft auf überspringen klicken, bis endlich alle Fotos vollständig runtergeladen sind... Das kann's doch nich sein?! Nervt mich jetzt schon seit nem halben Jahr ungefähr und hoffe endlich mal auf Hilfe... English : If everything goes smoothly during the download and not all files are included, that can happen. But: when I initiate the download again and some files are already there, the "replace?" question only responds with "skip" (=no) "yes" "yes, all"! Where's the "no, all"?! So sometimes I have to click skip several times until all the photos are finally completely downloaded... That can't be right?! It's been bugging me for half a year now, and I'm finally hoping for some help...
Clip webpages and notes to Dropbox
It would be a nice feature to have to be able to clip webpages, articles and notes to a designated folder in my dropbox account. Evernote is a good clipping tool, but its storage and recall functions are limited. It would be nice to clip a whole web page, with images, as well as a just the basics, even if it is a text file.
Idea: Enhance Sync Info Window with Clickable Files and Detailed Sync Status
The new Dropbox sync info window (v224.4.4811, 2025) is too vague, especially for large folders (e.g., my 350GB folder). It shows “74 files remaining” but doesn’t list which files or what’s happening (e.g., redownloading, indexing). Older versions had better sync details. Please add these features to the sync info window: Clickable Files: Allow clicking on files in the sync window to open them directly in their location. Show Waiting Folders/Files: Display a clear list of folders and files waiting to sync, including their paths and sizes, to identify bottlenecks. Giving clear marking of files that are yet to sync or not. Detailed Sync Info: Provide specific details (e.g., file name, progress percentage, status like “downloading” or “verifying”) for each file/folder in the sync queue, similar to pre-2020 versions. Also any permission errors. These changes would make sync tracking transparent and user-friendly, especially for large datasets. Thanks for considering! Currently I feel this is amazing that it is not standard. The last option is for having a simple way to have mutliple folders for mutliple windows users. Currently it is almost impossilbe to use the same drop box folder for two users.Download all comments from a folder into a .csv file.
We need a way to download all the comments in a folder as a .csv. For instance, I have over 100 images, each with a comment from the client on it. It is neither helpful nor time saving for me to download a text file one by one. Bonus points if we could also have the images embedded as thumbnails.Allow users to make the dl=1 option the default for shared links
Hola, Me gustaría sugerir una mejora importante para la funcionalidad de compartir archivos. Mi idea es poder generar un enlace que anule la vista previa y fuerce la descarga automática de un archivo al hacer clic en él. Actualmente, el enlace de descarga directa (?dl=1) fuerza la descarga, pero la vista previa sigue siendo una opción por defecto para la mayoría de los usuarios si acceden al enlace de manera estándar. Sería mucho más útil si hubiera una opción que combinara ambas funciones. Esta característica sería fundamental para: Entregas profesionales: Poder enviar archivos a clientes y colegas sabiendo que se descargarán directamente sin la posibilidad de una vista previa. Control total del proceso: El remitente tendría la certeza de que el archivo no se "previsualizará" de manera accidental, lo que es crucial para archivos de gran tamaño o de alta calidad. Considero que una opción para generar un enlace de este tipo, a través de la interfaz de Dropbox o de una API, sería un gran valor añadido. Gracias por su tiempo y consideración.
