How to create Dropbox Image URL for hosting purposes.
Hi, basically I am trying to mass upload product images to various marketplace platforms. So, I'd like to know the right way on how to generate the link to those particular images so that the marketplace server can grab images directly from dropbox. Uploading photos from phone
I basically got Dropbox in order to move my enormous collection of pictures and videos from my iPhone to somewhere else...The transfer went fine for a while, but then it has stopped and I keep seeing a message saying "waiting to upload". I have quit the application and relaunched, which does nothing. I have even upgraded Dropbox, as I suspect I will need the extra space... There is still over 400 pictures which are "waiting to upload" plus a few videos. And did I mention I started this process 13th of December...?Solved38KViews0likes37Comments
Can you password protect folders in Dropbox?
Hi folks, The Dropbox website at https://www.dropbox.com/features/share/password-protection clearly states that it is possible to password protect a folder in Dropbox, and has an animation on the page that seems to show this happening in a couple of simple steps. However, my version of Dropbox (the basic personal free version) looks nothing like that, and this Dropbox forum has a number of (possibly out of date) posts stating it's not possible to password protect a folder. Can this be done, or do I need to look for a different product? The options I seem to have around sharing and security seem to have are very limited. I'm trying to upload a small file, but finalizing is taking forever when using the desktop app.

I have a Dropbox folder that I wish to work on with three separate computers (all mine). I want the contents of the folder to also reside on each of these devices, with changes synced to DB. I wish to not depend on always having access to DB so I must have the files on the devices also. “something similar” to SCP for Dropbox
I'm trying to backup some file on my Linux server to Dropbox. I do *NOT* want to install Dropbox on my server as I do *NOT* want any of the files on my Dropbox account to be on this server. I'm looking for something similar to SCP, so it will look like this: scp backupDocument.txt mydropbox:/folder/save Basically I should be able to copy a file from my server and paste that file into my Dropbox account without needing to install Dropbox on the actual server.Solved15KViews0likes11Comments
'Empty files cannot be uploaded' error no matter the platform I'm using when trying to upload.
I have recently set up a basic account to try Dropbox out. I have successfully managed to upload some videos and photos from my iphone to my dropbox account. I have hardly used any of the allowance I have. I am now trying to do the same and I keep getting the message 'empty files cannot be uploaded' They are Mov or jpeg files I have tried to uplaod to dropbox directly, saving the files on my desktop and also 'requested files' via an email link.
