Dropbox Family

I am a member of this Family Abo of 2TB. On my side, I opened a new folder with subfolder for being able to store photos of different users. my users, I gave the access, informed me that they can not upload their photos because of capacity of 2GB. If I am a member of this family abo, can I use the capacity of this family abo? YES or NO? ...if No, then I have to apply for a costly abo. correct?Solved200Views1like2CommentsI‘m on a family plan but Dropbox still asks me to upgrade my plan because I don’t have enough space
I‘m on a paid family plan (shared from by my parents) and now i can’t sync a few of my new files with the family storage, dropbox then tells me to upgrade my plan because i‘m out of storage space which is impossible since the family plan storage is huge and we‘re not even using a third of the storage space. I have checked that i only have one email registered with dropbox so that can’t be the issue221Views0likes2CommentsHow to Sync Folder Structure and File Names to the Cloud While Keeping Files Offline
Hi everyone, I’ve just got a new computer, and I’m trying to sync my folder structure and file names to the cloud (Dropbox Family). However, I want to make sure that most of the files stay in the cloud and don’t take up space on my local drive, except for the ones I specifically choose to keep offline. Does anyone know how to achieve this? I’d appreciate any advice or tool recommendations that can help me with this setup. Thanks in advance!Solved1KViews0likes6CommentsFamily plan with more shared space !
Hi.... Is there any movement with regards to the ability to increase the Family Plan Storage Space. The Dropbox statement below hasn't changed for some considerable time - well over a year from memory. Thanks in advance Dropbox Family plan FAQs - Dropbox Help Can I buy more storage space? We’re working on a Family plan with more shared space, but an upgrade isn’t available yet. Individual Family members can free up space bydeleting unused files and folders, or they can opt out of Dropbox Family andchoose an individual planthat meets their needs.1.8KViews1like4CommentsEnvironmental Impact
How environmentally friendly are Dropbox's servers? I am curious to know how Dropbox would respond to this article (https://thereader.mitpress.mit.edu/the-staggering-ecological-impacts-of-computation-and-the-cloud/) about the environmental impact of "the cloud". I depend on your excellent service but want to continue doing so with a reasonably clear conscience! I am a member of a family account (not the manager) and we have a 2TB plan, the plan has only had 1.1TB of storage used, I am trying to add more files but it is saying I don't have enough space. How do I fix this?961Views0likes7CommentsHow can I access the quota in the Dropbox Family plan?
Access after upgrade. Our team has been using Basic for a number of years without problems other than occasionally approaching the storage space limit. After diagnosing and resolving another such problem last week, we upgraded to Family, going from 2GB (actually 2.8GB) to 2TB. I am the administrator, and Dropbox indicates the account storage (my account or plan account? ... I don't know) is indeed 2TB. However, it seems the four others on the team who have access still show 2GB storage. How do we resolve this? Do I need to add or invite the other team members into the Family Plan? If so, what happens to the Basic Plan we all were members of?1.2KViews0likes3Comments
