I can't open 365 Microsoft files on my Mac running Sequoia.
Nancy, can you help wth this related issue... Same problem of no access to DB from 365, but in following your advice I find that 365 offers no option for adding DB. There is no visible 'storage accounts' option, only "add a service", which, when opened, reveals "add storage account" that permits only further 365 options (I will add a screeen shot if possible on this service). Your advice please. I'm using a mac running sequoia 15.5, with fully up-to-date 365... podbxl
WOPI Version of .xlsm files opening in Desktop App. Why is this happening?
Hello, With zero support from Dropbox Advanced support, I'm hoping as a community anyone can provide some guidance. I have a user in my organization who in the desktop app cannot open and edit xlsm files, no one else in our organization has this issue. According to ChatGPT, the file(s) and not corrupted and it is not a Microsoft issue. All xlsm files for this user are offline files. I employed autoruns and unchecked some Dropbox extensions to force open xlsm files as 'local' files without Dropbox trying to open the WOPI version, which is unusable. We have thousands xlsm files we use daily, and cannot nor should have to copy each file over to this users' desktop and copy them back to the desktop app as that is a huge waste of time. I'm confused why he is the only user that is impacted this way and hoping someone can provide some solutions so this user can use xlsm files in the desktop just like the rest of us. I can't open my Microsoft files when they're set to online-only.
Hi All, I can't seem to open documents when they are saved on Dropbox. My files are set to online only. However, photos and other media does not have an issue. But office and pdf often encounter an issue where they don't open or the dialogue box just keeps loading. When I move files outside dropbox, they open just fine. Thank you for your help.
I can't open my Dropbox files; there's the OneDrive box icon next to them.
What do I do about the One drive sync issue that causes the file box to appear on all of your dropbox files? This happened like suddenly a couple of weeks ago. I can't open the files at al now, and they are so much of my work, like all. In the end I DON'T want drop box saving my files to my physical computer it has eaten all my space, but for now I can't even open them!!!
I see a small file box next to my Microsoft files and I can no longer open them.
Just recently, most (but not all) of my documents and spreadsheets have small file box icon in front of the Word doc logo and will not let me open them. This has only occurred with document in my dropbox, not on my internal computer documents. For background, I have had dropbox for many years and have never seen this before. I have plenty of storage space left because I thought that might be it, but apparently not. Does anyone know what this is? And, how to open these files? Thanks so much, Keith
