In the account setting, I added two phone numbers for receiving SMS for a one-time code. I can receive the code when I log into the web. But, in the case of the dropbox mobile app (for iPhone), it automatically sends the code to the primary phone, and I cannot find any interface to send the code to the secondary phone. How can I get the code by the second phone when I try to log in mobile app?Solved964Views0likes1CommentI can't log in on my iPhone or iPad; I get an error message that I've entered the wrong credentials.

When I opened my Dropbox folder on my android phone (I only have the default folder on my app-a simple new installation) I saw a folder called Scuba. It wasn't mine. Dropbox indicated it was shared by two people I know but that I don't have any sharing relationships with. I'm worried that someone else has access to my Dropbox. On my android phone I deleted the folder and uninstalled the entire Dropbox app. When I open the folder on my Windows 11 PC the mystery folder is gone. How is the appearance of the mystery folder possible? I only want to use Dropbox to move files between my phone and my PC. Are there settings to close it off to outside entities? If not, I'll uninstall the program from my PC, too. Thanks, Dave123Views0likes4CommentsI don't have access to my authenticator code after changing my authenticator app

It is very shocking for me that Dropbox Passwords has no master password (or at least I can't find it). I do not use fingerprints on my phone, I have simple PIN. It is locking after 2 minutes, but if the pone is in hands it won't turn off the screen. So, to open another password managers it is necessary to enter master password. But for this app you just open it and the passwords are visible immediately. Is it possible to add Normal master password or at least PIN to add additional protection?432Views1like2CommentsI'm not seeing my updates when opening Dropbox Passwords on my mobile/Firefox browser.
I use Dropbox Passwords, mainly on my computer (with Safari). I have installed the app on my phone and connected it some months ago but use it rarely. I noticed that the last changes made were not synchronized on the mobile ap. After trying different solution I uninstalled the app on my phone and reinstalled it. I can't understand, it is still the same: the last changes I made do not appear. I installed it on another brother (Firefox) and the problem is the same. The changes made on August 2024 (and latter) do not appear.65Views0likes1CommentI can't log back into Dropbox Passwords after disconnecting all devices.
Salve, usavo l'estensione su Chrome e l'app su Android senza problemi. Come si può risolvere il problema di accesso a Dropbox Passwords ?68Views0likes1CommentI can't sign in due to a security code being sent to an email I can't access
Dropbox on my PC and iPhone used to be perfectly synced. When I added or edited content on either, it would show up on the other usually within minutes. I recently got a new PC and when the installers set it up my DB worked great on my new PC. Except that I soon discovered that it was no longer synced to my phone. So I deleted my iPhone DB and tried to just sign in again on my phone in hopes that would solve the problem. Little did I realize that to sign in you requires username (e mail address), password and then DB sends a six digit security code to your e mail address (the one you used to sign in). The problem is that e mail address no longer exists, and I can't recreate it so I can't retrive the security code they send me to sign in. So now I've lost all my DB content on my phone and can't figure out how to re open that account on my iphone so that all of my PC DB files will sync to it. HELP! Thanks Mac104Views0likes3CommentsPlease confirm that deleting the Dropbox account will not remove photos from iPad or Phone.
Hi there, I am working with a client who wishes to delete his dropbox account. It is currently storing copies of files from his laptop, and photographs from his iPad and mobile. I have copied the files from the DropBox folder of his laptop to a folder on his C drive. Please can someone definitively confirm that DropBox mobile simply creates a back-up of photos and does not remove them from the device. Please confirm that deleting and closing his DropBox account will have no impact on the photos stored on his phone. He has never deleted any photographs from his mobile that he wishes to keep so that is not an issue. Every web search I have done confirms the above, but none of the information is direct from DropBox and the chat bot pre-programmed responses are not applicable. Thanks Tagging some staff that have given helpful answers recently in the hope that you will see this! Hannah Walter Thank youSolved1.2KViews0likes4Comments
