I tried resubscribing from basic to Plus. I used the Dutch payment method iDeal for this, but AFTER the money was taken from my bank account, the site said something went wrong. Now the upgrade didn't go through, I can't contact Dropbox support because it still thinks I'm on Basic and the money is gone from my account? I think its ridiculous I have to post this on a forum to get an answer in the first place, but did anyone encounter the same? and how did you solve it? I want to download an invoice for December 2024, however I can't access my Billing area anymore - all it tells me is "Something went wrong while retrieving your billing history. Please try again later." I have tried logging out and in again, clearing my cache, using a different browser and using an incognito window but nothing works. Bit annoyed that I’m not able to just contact support because I’m not a ‘plus member’, even though I am and have been for years. Recently moved back from New Zealand to the Netherlands, which is super annoying with the app store and this has been a whole nightmare in itself. You need to let all your subscriptions run out before you can change this, so I did. After waiting for a month for all my subscriptions to end, i still couldn’t change since apparently Dropbox still required me to pay 20,50nzd for, idk, the month of April, maybe May? it doesnt say. Did that. changed countries. Now my subscription is still not active. In the appstore under my subscriptions it says it ended 25th of July 2024, which is super weird, because Ive been using it and paying for it up until now, so thats not correct. I just already paid for this coming month, as far as I understand it, so why isnt it active? Hi, I have a problem with dropbox. I tried contacting the billing team and they havent got back to me yet and its been 3 days since. I never received any response from them. So I've just seen my bank statement and noticed DB have billed me 3x in one month, twice on the same day, all with separate transaction ids. The kicker is though that I don't pay for DB, I use basic and it sits empty, not a solitary byte of data being stored. Having to rely on a labyrinth of self help articles and a chatbot that really doesn't provide any help is unacceptable. I eventually got a link to a form to fill in to raise a support ticket but nowhere obvious alludes to this link existing. I've noticed a couple of posts on here about billing errors, how long does it take to get sorted or do I have to raise a complaint via PayPal and let them do the heavy lifting?61Views0likes8Comments
